A fortune-teller dubbed the modern day Nostradamus has warned of zombies in a terrifyingly dark list of prophecies.

Athos Salomé, 36, claims to have already had several of his predictions realised from Russia's invasion of Ukraine to Covid-19 and the Queen's death this year.

From his visions which he says just occur out of the blue, the paranormal expert has penned a chilling list of largely damning world events he expects to come true between now in the years 2023, 2024 and 2026.

One of Athos' prophecies warns there is no escape for those "who need to know the wrath of the Lord".

In prophecy six of 14 penned on March 28, 2021, Athos from Divinópolis, Minas Gerais in Brazil, warns of humans being physically and mentally tortured to the extent we're living like zombies.

Athos says: "Many heads will be cut off, blood and psychological torture used particularly, leaving the population manipulated and living like zombies.

"The mental disorders will increase and mental outbreaks will occur at the time of pain and grief, unbalancing the human mind and triggering depression and death from suicide. Get ready, because the number can triple and it's not just the virus that will kill."

Like much of Athos' prophecies, it is unclear as to who he is referring to and in this case, will live like zombies.

In an attempt to counter his disbelievers, Athos approached a language expert to add scientific backing to his prophecies.

According to Thiago Luigi – whose work as the Director of INVEP (Non Verbal Institute), in São Paulo – involves identifying lies, Athos isn't bluffing.

On April 18, Thiago said: "In a criminal context, although there is no unanimous acceptance of paranormality, the identifications of signs brought by the paranormal, are beacons in the darkness of dark spots in an investigation.

"The contributions promoted by the paranormal Athos Salomé, whether anticipating questions of investigation or directing the gaze, helps many who seek to promote the best course, or even, any possible search for justice.

"After, it is up to the user of this information to make the best use of it."

Another of Athos' Bible-led prophecies could be interpreted as a state or nation "where impurity and arrogance lead", being flooded as climate change causes sea levels to rise.

He says in yet another disturbing warning: "Dark clouds will get gathered in the sky, causing terror and tension.

"On a hot day, the weather will became dry, the wind will turn into a hurricane, covering the moons, stars and everything in the constellation, making the day look like the night.

"No one will escape from that place, only those who believe and those who need to know the wrath of the Lord.

"Listen, pray and watch, the rays which will hit the earth will be powerful – they will be able to rise the ocean one more time and swallow the precious lands of that place."
