Man who ‘died’ saw body from above and found himself in ‘womb of universe’

A man has revealed the chilling out-of-body experience he had when he nearly died from a drug overdose.

Jacob Bottica appeared on Harry Jowsey's popular Tap In podcast to chat about the terrifying near-death experience.

He candidly opened up about how his body reacted badly to taking crack cocaine in his car, with his heart pounding non stop.

Jacob said he was in so much pain he wanted to smash his head in on the pavement rather than let the overdose kill him.

He told a terrified Harry: "I remember shrieking 'Somebody please kill me'.

"Someone please just come and shoot me."

What scared Jacob the most was the prospect of dying alone, something he said he has feared ever since he was a child.

As he drifted away, he said he started to see himself in third-person, curling up and dying in a ball as his skin started "shedding".

"I was watching myself being watched by these five entities that were my own inner thoughts," Jacob said.

The characters were a young girl, a mother, a teen, a father figure and a "shadowy demon".

They were all heckling him with different taunts like "You don't deserve to live' and 'Stop being a p****".

He continued: "I can hear everything and I'm like, cut it out guys.

"The last thing I remember is having these transitions from first person to third person and back again.

"I started saying, like 'f*** it, bring it on I"m ready.' Just completely accepted it. And as soon as I said that to myself, the pain went."

Jacob then blacked out and everything went cold. He explained at this point, he saw himself in space.

"It was like I was in the womb of the universe," he said. "It was basically a psychedelic trip, man.

"This sounds crazy every time I say it to someone, but I literally lived in that place longer than I've lived on Earth."

Podcaster and OnlyFans star Harry sat silent in shock while Jacob continued telling the story.

He said: "That's why life to me now is, like, so bizarre. Because I've been somewhere else longer than I've been here.

"It was this journey of self-discovery."

During his bizarre near-death experience, he claimed a figure told him wisdom comes not from age but experience and how many "energy cycles" someone has gone through.

"And this is where it got f***ing crazy," he continued.

"I remember asking this question and it's the one question he didn't answer.

"He said, 'It's time for you to go back now'.

"I said 'Why?' and he said, 'Cos you need to find the answer to that question'."

Jacob said he felt like someone had then pulled him out of deep water and was breathing for his life.

In fact, that wasn't far from the truth.

Though he'd driven somewhere obscure so he couldn't be caught doing drugs in his car, a bus driver returning to the depot via an alternative route found Jacob knocked out in his car and called for help.

"Had he not found me, the ambulance never would have got to me in time to put me in the ICU," he said.

"But even though I got there, I died four times and on the fourth time they said 'Ah we can't bring him back'.

"They'd literally called my mum and said 'Sorry, he's dead. Can you come and ID the body?'

"And then I just came alive."
