It is not uncommon to have disputes between neighbours – and minor issues can quickly see these escalate.
The causes are often quite similar, usually involving issues such as parking or bins being left out.
These rows can escalate as neighbours retaliate against each other.
One woman who claims to have been having issues with a “neighbour from hell”, described how she and her husband got creative to take revenge.
Taking to Reddit, she said the pair lived on a dead end road and that the man next door was “petty” about everything.

The woman claimed her neighbour complained about grass clippings being left out, their children’s ball going over the fence and a number of other things.
During one incident the neighbour even called the police because her husband’s truck was parked the wrong way on the street – leading to the couple taking revenge the next time he complained.
She wrote: “Neighbour came out complaining about husband’s truck being backwards. So he promptly parked it in the side yard next to his house. Then took some stakes, put them in the yard and tied [a] ribbon around them.
“The guy’s motion detecting security cameras were sending alerts like crazy. It’s always windy where we live. Tonight he shut them off. Absolutely nothing he can do.”

Other Reddit users were divided over the incident however.
One wrote: “No, you are parking it going the wrong direction ON THE STREET. That is illegal for safety reasons. Why would you do that? Repeatedly?”
Another added their own suggestion for revenge: “Buy a loud back up alarm for your truck. Back up slowly and keep the alarm on after you parked for a few minutes.
“Do this a few times a day till he complains. The logical solution would have you park backwards again.”
