Teenage pilot crashes a plane into a house seconds after takeoff

Passengers hailed a pilot who mocked a passenger’s bid to be the first off a flight, leaving the eager traveller red-faced.

The encounter was detailed on social media platform Reddit, with one infuriated witness describing how the passenger “unbuckled and darted to the front of the plane to get off first”. They added: “She did not make any eye contact and felt that she was special.”

It came as other passengers respected the fact the plane was still moving and the seatbelt sign not yet illuminated.

The user recalled how the passenger went from “the very last seat on the plane, down the whole row and past first class, basically standing at the little kitchen thing in the front”.

With the seatbelt sign not yet telling passengers to move, concerned flight crew asked the woman to return to her seat, but she ignored the pleas.

The witness detailed that the remainder of the passengers on the eight-hour flight turned their attention to the woman.

The user continued: “Suddenly the captain announced we had a special guest onboard and he will be coming out to greet them after we were settled at the gate.

“The woman stood there awkwardly until we did the whole rolling into the gate thing, and whatever planes do when they land, for about 15 to 20 minutes.”

This left everyone on board the flight “waiting to see what the captain was talking about”.

The user recalled: “Eventually the captain came out and asked the lady to please move back a little to get to his special guest, then a little more, then a little more.

“He was looking from row to row trying to find a specific person. Everyone is watching and looking around to see who it could be.”

Then came the passenger’s ultimate humiliation.

As the pilot kept ushering the passenger back, they finally reached the back of the plane.

With the rear of the vehicle in sight, the pilot asked the passenger to “sit for a second while he grabbed the intercom” at the back of the plane.

The witness concluded: “[He said] ‘Ladies and gentleman, I’d like to announce our special guest sitting in seat 42C. Lets give her a round of applause’.

“The whole plane went wild with laughter and applause. I loved every moment of that.”

One user replied: “That pilot is a hero to the people.”
