‘Time-traveller’ claims people will be chosen at random to visit the future

A TikTok user who claims to be a 'time traveller' claims to have come back to 2022 to take eight randomly selected people to the year 2906 in a bid to save the world.

User @timevoyaging has frequently posted videos with a list of catastrophic natural disasters that people around the world will face by 2024 if the climate crisis isn't averted.

Now, the user claims they have plans to take a select few to the future to see the "chaos and havoc" caused by humans in the hope that when they return to their own time they will be able to prevent it.

In the video, which has gained more than 4,000 likes, the TikTok user wrote: "STOP SCROLLING. Yes, I am a real time traveller. I will soon take 8 people to the future.

"In less than 6 months, 8 random people that I choose will go to the year 2906. They will get to see the chaos and havoc humanity has caused and will prevent it when they return.

"This will not only prove that I am a time traveller but give you a chance to see the future."

In the comments, viewers seemed divided over whether to believe the claims or not, as some seemed excited by the prospect of heading to a different time, but others tried to test them to prove it.

One user wrote: "Can you please take me I always wanted to go?!"

The news comes after conspiracy theorists claimed that environmentalist Greta Thunberg could be a time traveller after she was allegedly spotted in a photograph taken 120 years ago.

The pic, which was taken in 1898 by Eric Hegg at a gold mine in Canada's Yukon territory, has since gone viral for capturing a girl who bears a spookily striking resemblance to the 19-year-old Swede.

Add to the photo 'evidence' the fact she has spoken so passionately about climate issues to global audiences as just a teenager and conspiracy theories have been offered.

There is no question one of the youngsters looks like Greta but some Twitter users have gone one step further to claim it was in actual fact her, thanks to time travelling technology.
