A mysterious social media user who claims to be a time traveller has claimed that humans will go to war with an "intelligent species" after discovering a new world underground.

The user, known as @timevoyaging, has doubled-down on their previous claims that a cave will be discovered today (January 13) – leading to a new world hidden under the Earth's crust.

It will apparently be known as Azawa and will be home to new species and elements that have never been seen before.

However, the alleged time warper warns that the discovery will spark a war "at first" but will eventually lead to peace.

In the video, which has gained more than 5,800 likes since being posted on January 12, the TikTok user wrote: "Attention! Yes, I am a real time traveller from the year 2906, tomorrow, a new world is discovered.

"On January 13, 2023, a team of explorers in the Amazon Rainforest discover a large cave.

"It leads them to beneath the Earth's crust, where a new world is discovered known as Azawa.

"There are new species, intelligent civilisations, new liquids, new elements and so much more.

"The civilisations down there will try to go to war with us at first but then become peaceful in years to come."

In previous videos about the claim they described the species as "hostile" and claimed they had been "causing disasters for humans for years."

Viewers were left flabbergasted by the claims, with many staying sceptical about whether they will come true.

One user commented: "I’ve yet to see one of these “time traveller” vids be accurate."

A third wrote: "Yeah, how come nothing's come true yet."

However, there were some users who believed it could be true, adding: "Time to see it tomorrow."

Another argued: "Even if this was true they aren’t telling us."
