Hollyoaks is lining up a particularly dramatic week, as a devastating bus crash is set to send shockwaves through the eponymous village.

The pupils of Hollyoaks High are exciting for their camping trip, but little do they know the horror that awaits them when they board the bus.

John Paul McQueen (James Sutton), who has been struggling with his addiction to alcohol, is made designated driver for the trip, and after they all set off, things take a terrifying turn.

The deputy head teacher closes his eyes, before losing control of the vehicle. 

Afterwards, he regains consciousness, horrified to discover what has transpired. Olivia Bradshaw (Emily Burnett) takes charge, as she rounds up the kids. 

Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer), meanwhile, is worried sick as he realises that newcomer Freya is still in the van, and she’s stuck under all of the luggage.

What’s more, Olivia goes missing, and JP sets off to search for her. But he soon makes an unsettling discovery.

It’s all kicking off in the village next week, and here’s your first-look at all the drama set to unfold.
