A Coronation Street first look has hinted at Corey Brent's potential downfall.
The youngster, played by Maximum Evans on the ITV soap, has been riding high after escaping justice for the murder of Seb Franklin, played by Harry Visinoni earlier this year.
It was revealed in flashback scenes earlier this month that Corey was the culprit ultimately responsible for Seb's brutal death.
However, thanks to his dad and his cracking legal team, he managed to get off scot-free while Kelly Neelan (Mollie Gibson) was jailed for Seb's murder.
She awaits her sentencing for the crime later this week and it looks like Corey may soon get his just desserts.
Max Evans who plays the young thug was recently spotted filming at The Avenue in Sale in Greater Manchester.
In pictures taken from the set, Corey is seen being confronted by a busker who may unravel his life.
The busker threatens to expose Corey by revealing that he has evidence of the footballer dumping his bag of bloodied clothes on the night he murdered Seb.
Corey later threatens the busker to keep quiet, though it's thought the encounter may be the beginning of the end for Corey, who could also be seen with injuries to his face.
It's rumoured the scenes will lead into Coronation Street's Super Soap Week storyline next month.
The dramatic week is renowned for being a five-day period during which all of the ITV soaps air the climaxes to their most explosive storylines.
