Emmerdale star Danny Miller was crowned the first-ever King of the Castle on Sunday evening’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! After spending the past few weeks in Gwyrch Castle, Wales, Danny’s fiancée Steph Jones and their newborn son Albert could only watch from afar as the new dad sailed to victory on the ITV show. So when the family reunited on Lorraine the following day, it was always going to be an emotional affair.

Steph had previously joined Lorraine in the ITV studio a few weeks back to discuss Danny’s chances in the castle.

And on Monday, she and Albert appeared once more to be reunited via video link with Danny.

The emotional reunion completely caught the Emmerdale star and I’m A Celeb winner off-guard as he was unaware he’d be joined by family on air.

As soon as Steph and Albert popped up on-screen, Danny held his head in his hands as he began to cry.

“I’m a little bit tired, a little bit tipsy,” Danny said to Lorraine when he first joined live from Wales. “I’m grateful for you having me on your show.”

Lorraine then revealed the surprise guest as she replied: “It’s so lovely to see you,

“But do you know what? We’re also joined by your fiancée Steph and wee baby Albert who I believe is – Steph, he’s seven weeks today?”

“Yeah, he’s seven weeks today,” Steph replied as she appeared on-screen, much to Danny’s shock.

“You must’ve missed him so much,” Lorraine asked Steph.

“Yeah, we have,” Steph replied who quickly became emotional. “We’ve missed you so much, Danny.

“We just want you to come home now,” Steph said through tears as Danny too began to cry.

Lorraine began to tease the Emmerdale star as she quipped: “He’s off again.”

But as Lorraine tried to continue with the chat, an emotional Danny interjected.

“Oh, darling, I love you so much,” he shouted as Steph replied: “I love you so much,

“We’re so proud of you, we just can’t wait to see you later.”

Even Lorraine became a bit emotional before Danny jokingly scolded the ITV host for setting him up.

“This wasn’t the plan, I’m sorry Lorraine,” he began before teasing the ITV host had him in the palm of her hand.

Steph then weighed in when asked about Danny’s chances of winning: “Me and Danny’s friends were saying this, we knew.

“We knew he’d win if he just showed who he is – he’s the most lovely down to earth person.

“He’s just an all-round amazing person and we just love him and we’re so proud of him.”

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
