EastEnders original Lauren Branning unrecognisable in glam snap 12 years on

Former EastEnders star Madeline Duggan looked incredible as she enjoyed a lavish night out.

The stunning brunette played the original incarnation of Lauren Branning in the hit BBC One soap for four years between 2006 and 2010.

Madeline, 27, showed off her toned figure as she posed in a plunging white bodysuit at luxurious London restaurant Ours.

The actress teamed her chest-baring look with a ruched white wrap mini-skirt with nude strappy heels and a matching quilted bag.

She wore her hair loose flowing over her shoulders in tousled waves and completed her outfit with a full face of complimenting glamorous makeup.

Madeline posed in front of a gold sequinned wall at the eatery with the name of the trendy spot emblazoned across it.

She captioned the post: "Yours, mine, ours."

Madeline quit her role as Lauren in 2010, later to be replaced by fan-favourite star Jacqueline Jossa who took over as the character in 2010 and played her for eight years until her 2018 departure.

While Madeline has remained a working actress she hasn't enjoyed the successes of her successor Jac since her departure from the East London-based soap.

Her roles to date have been limited but she remains signed to an acting agent.

Madeline has previously admitted that she now works part-time in a doctor's surgery because "being an out of work actress doesn't pay".

In 2020 she joined forces with Frank Bruno and X Factor winner Sam Bailey to raise money for both Alzheimer's Society and Action for Children by forming a supergroup called The Celebs.

They released a Christmas charity single – a remake of Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin' Stevens which was released on December 11, 2020.

The video for the track debuted exclusively on Good Morning Britain on the day before its release.

The song had some significant success, peaking at number two on the iTunes pop releases chart.
