Emily Atack reckons she is “banned” from ever hosting This Morning again after a “traumatic” experience live on-air.

The 32-year-old took on the gig back in 2019 alongside John Barrowman when they filled in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield away on their Easter break.

Although it was both of their first times hosting the iconic ITV show, the duo didn’t exactly get off to the easiest of starts.

Shortly after speaking to the naked stars of Channel 4's Naked Beach, Emily and John fronted a segment about live animals.

The two interviewed a farmer and his flock about lambing season – but things did not go to plan.

As she tried to cuddle a lamb, Emily ended up dropping one, prompting her to exclaim: “I can't believe I have just dropped a lamb on national television.”

However, even now three years on the Inbetweeners star has said she is still “traumatised” by the live on-air mishap.

Speaking to Jack Whitehall on his Safe Space podcast she revealed: “Live TV is traumatic.

“I'd just come out of the jungle and me and John Barrowman hosted This Morning, we replaced Holly and Phil for a week.

“I couldn't believe I'd been left in charge of that. It's insane.”

The star continued: “It was Easter and we had to play with these lambs on the set. This lamb sat on my knee and just s*** all over my leg as I was talking.

“I was like, ‘Oh God, it's sh***ing down my leg.’ Then this sheep expert was like, ‘These lambs need to be treated very carefully, and all of a sudden it moved and I dropped the lamb, it just fell out of my arms and it was lying on its back with its legs kicking in the air, s*** everywhere.”

Emily then went on to reveal: “And everyone was complaining going, 'Emily dropped the lamb, is the lamb OK?' I was like, 'Is the lamb OK? I've been s*** on, bruv'."

She finished with: “I was never asked again.”

It comes after Emily was spotted sharing a kiss with Joey Essex during filming for Celebrity Juice's last ever episode.

Things got steamy behind the scenes and the actress and The Only Way Is Essex star were pictured all cosied up.

In the snap, Joey caressed Emily’s shoulder before leaning in for a smooch as the pair filmed the funny ITV show hosted by Keith Lemon.
