EMMA Willis has avoided the dreaded Strictly Curse as her Busted star husband Matt has admitted he's turned the BBC show down several times.
His McBusted bandmate Tom Fletcher is taking part in this year's series, and Harry Judd won the show back in 2011.
However, the idea does not appeal to the 38-year-old star – which is good news for Emma, 45, who said five years ago she'd BANNED him from signing up.
Speaking in a new interview, Matt shared: "The idea of Strictly terrifies me. I've been asked a few times and always said no. Can you imagine standing there and suddenly you hear: 'Tonight, dancing the cha-cha-cha, it's Matt Willis!'"
He added to OK! magazine: "You know something like £12 million people are watching – no thanks. There's not a chance that I'd be able to cope with that kind of pressure."
Interestingly, after Harry's win Matt had said that he would take part on Strictly "at some point".
He'd mused at the time: "There’ll be some sort of dancing show in my future, I am sure. Not this year, but it’s a given isn’t it? At some point."
But his change of heart has followed Emma's 2016 interview, where she confessed: "I’m a jealous person. If my husband is around a younger, good-looking woman, I’m like, ‘Stop looking at them.'
"Matt could do Strictly, because he’s an amazing dancer. Every now and then he will bust out a pirouette in the middle of the living room and our daughter will be like, ‘Wow, Daddy!’… But I don’t want him grinding against hot women."
Matt shot to fame as one third of Busted in 2002, who split three years later.
He then enjoyed a solo career, before turning his hand to acting with appearances in EastEnders as well as leading West End productions.
Matt has also dabbled with reality TV, winning I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2006.
The Sun revealed last month that Matt now plans to follow in his wife's footsteps with a presenting career.
A source told us at the time: "After over two decades in Busted, Matt is preparing to make the move into TV presenting – he is totally overhauling his image and sees his future on the box."
