Emmerdale: Tom drops the L-bomb on Belle

Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) was stunned when Tom King (James Chase) returned to Emmerdale earlier this year.

He promised her he’d changed his ways after leaving her heartbroken several years ago, and was back in the village as a trained veterinarian.

The rekindled couple have been cosying up to one another but suffered a blip last month which they managed to overcome.

They have been going from strength to strength in the Yorkshire Dales drama, but ITV soap spoilers have revealed there will soon be trouble in paradise.

In upcoming scenes, Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) looks forwards to having some company when Tom moves in as his lodger.

However, Belle is left frustrated to have a third wheel in her romance with Tom.

Could this cause the couple to be torn apart thanks to Rishi’s interference?

When Tom hears Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) needs a babysitter, he volunteers as a way of getting some time with Belle. But will it all go to plan?

Will babysitting be even more stressful than having Rishi around the house for Tom and Belle?

Could Belle give Tom an ultimatum to get his own place or move in with her?

However, many Emmerdale viewers are sceptical about Tom following his shady past and they have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns.

Anthony Langford shared: “I don’t care if Tom and Belle dated before they are rushing into this relationship. He’s too eager and his ‘whatever’ reaction to her tragic past seems…. off. Maybe he’s like his dad and shouldn’t be trusted. #Emmerdale.” (sic)
