Emmerdale: Nicky confesses to pushing his dad off the cliff
Emmerdale’s Nicky Milligan (played by Lewis Cope) could end up going to prison after betraying his dad Caleb (Will Ash).
During Wednesday night’s ITV instalment, Caleb taunted his son after confronting him about being pushed from the woodland ridge.
Nicky look frightened as he begged his dad not to go to confess what happened to the police.
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) is currently the only suspect for pushing Caleb, but will Nicky and his dad let the farmer take the fall for the crime?
After waking up, Caleb asked Nicky to sit down to chat about what happened. telling him: “There are things me and you need to talk about.”
Caleb said: “Stop pretending that because I remember exactly what happened, it was you who pushed me.
“Did you think you’d get away with it with everyone thinking you had left the village?”
“I came back to make peace,” Nicky insisted. “But then I heard you shouting the odds in the street…boasting that you’d bought Mill Cottage and then I realised you had lied to me.”
“The truth is you never cared about me or mum,” Nicky said as Caleb added: “So it’s my fault you tried to kill me.”
The nanny protested: “I wanted to tell you what I thought about you so I followed you to the woods I didn’t try and kill you. It was an accident.”

“You could go down for this,” Caleb taunted as Nicky begged: “You wouldn’t actually tell the police it was me, would you dad?”
Towards the end of the episode, Caleb mocked Nicky further by asking whether he’d come to “finish the job”.
However, will Caleb seek the ultimate revenge on Nicky by telling the police it was him who pushed him?
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk and other press about Nicky’s relationship with his dad, Lewis shared: “Yes, he’s scared of him because there’s been plenty of scenes where he’ll try to stand up to him but he just never seems to succeed. So he definitely feels inferior to him.”

When addressing whether Nicky has it in him to strike again, the soap star continued: “We haven’t learned massive amounts about Nicky’s background.
“A lot of what you’ve learned has actually been lies, just to fabricate situations to try and get revenge. So you haven’t really learned much, but I don’t think he’s a massively aggressive person.
“But I think that everyone’s got the capacity depending on the situation. So I think, given the circumstances, maybe it could do it again.”
He later added: “I think you know, maybe he could be influenced by situations and do things again, we don’t know yet.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
