There are a few binge-worthy shows debuting on Disney+ during April 2021, as well as new episodes of originals like Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. Here’s what we know about this streaming platform.
The ‘Big Shot’ season premiere, starring John Stamos
In this Disney+ original series, John Stamos’ character is a “big shot” college basketball coach who gets fired from his job. As a result, he gets a result at an all-girls high school. Fans can watch Big Shot starting on April 16.
Disney+ premieres new episodes of ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ during April 2021
They’re an unlikely duo, but it’s their friendship with Steve and their respect for each other that makes the Falcon and the Winter Soldier such a great team. (Not to mention Falcon’s wings and Bucky’s arm.) Although this series premiered in March, new episodes still debut on Disney’s streaming platform during April.
The Disney+ original series, ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ premieres episodes on a weekly basis
Everyone loves an underdog story. Now, these hockey-playing kids are much different from how they were in the 1990s and it’s bringing the other teams down. Now, Gordon Bombay is back to coach a new team and a new generation of misfits. Disney+ releases new episodes of their original series, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers on a weekly basis.
‘Higglytown Heroes’ (Seasons 1 and 2)
This Playhouse Disney favorite featured animated characters, Kip, Wayne, Eubie, and Twinkle, in Higglytown. Together, with their squirrel friend, these kids learn about different jobs and explore their neighborhood together. The first two seasons of Higglytown Heroes debuts on Disney+ on April 2.
Disney Channel’s series starring Dove Cameron, ‘Liv and Maddie’
She was Mal in Descendants and Bobbie in Austin & Ally. For this Disney Channel original series, however, Dove Cameron starred as both main characters — identical twins Liv and Maddie. Well, they were identical except for the fact that one was an international pop star and the other a sports geek.
Although this series originally premiered on Disney Channel most seasons will be available on Disney’s streaming platform starting April 23.
‘Ducktales’ (Season 3)
Whoo-oo! Sure, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Scrooge McDuck appeared in a few Mickey Mouse cartoons. In this rebooted animated series, these characters share the spotlight with Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck. Their third season of Disney Channel’s Ducktales debuts on Disney+ on April 30.
