Good Morning Britain presenters Susanna Reid and Alastair Campbell were unable to stop guest, Peter Stefanovic from ranting. The lawmaker and filmmaker had created a video that has been viewed over 25 million times which debunks statements made by Boris Johnson. He was passionate about getting his point across but when Susanna or Alastair wanted to put a question to him, they were unable to as he was on a roll and wasn’t listening.
Peter said: “The astonishing reaction from the public to my film demonstrates they do care about the almost rampant lying we are witnessing in parliament at the moment.
“The film itself appears to have become public protest at the outright lies were being seen told on the floor of the house practically every week.
“Everything that I say in the film has been carefully fact-checked by various sources, so what the Prime Minister is saying there, is probably false,” he added.
“There are going to be different people interpreting this film in different ways.”
Peter continued: “You’re going to have some people looking at it, as I do, and saying ‘This Prime Minister is telling bare-faced lies every week’.
“And you’re going to have some people looking at the film and saying ‘The Prime Minister simply hasn’t got a clue what’s going in the country, he doesn’t know…”
Susanna then said: “Okay, Peter, but can I just, let me interrupt again because I want to put, I want to just -”
But he carried on speaking and Alastair tried: “Hold on Peter, hold on. Hold on, hold on.”
“Peter, Peter, Peter, Peter, Peter,” Susanna chimed trying to get the guests attention.
“Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,” Alastair reiterated before shouting: “Peter! Hold on!”
“Hello? Hello?” Susanna remarked frustrated. “No one can hear anything at the moment.”
