I was on Love Island – here's what we got up to on the nights that weren't filmed for show | The Sun

A LOVE Island star has revealed what exactly happens when the show isn't being filmed.

The ITV2 dating series sees a group of gorgeous singletons locked up in a luxury villa for weeks.

Love Island typically airs Sunday to Friday each week, with no new episode on Saturdays.

It gives the cast and crew much-needed downtime where they can relax without the cameras capturing their every move.

However, it's not widely known what happens when the show isn't filming – until now.

Former star Ella Thomas has revealed what the cast get up to during the weekends.

"You would have like a down night. They'd just let us chill for the night."

She added: "It gives you some time off camera."
