I'm A Celeb star Frankie Bridge prepares for the castle with lunch of rice and sweetcorn

I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Frankie Bridge looks to be preparing for the castle by eating rice and sweetcorn.

The Loose Women panellist took to her Instagram stories to joke she was a "chef" as she chowed down on the bowl, which had been topped with tuna.

Former The Saturday's band member Frankie, 32, is set to head to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, Wales, to take part in the upcoming ITV series.

The star is currently in two-week quarantine ahead of her castle debut, and looked to be preparing her stomach for the show's food with a simple lunch.

She took to her social media with a snap of the bowl, which included rice, sweetcorn and tuna mixed together, atop of her laptop while she watched movies.

"Tell me you're a chef without telling me you're a chef," Frankie jokingly captioned the post, before revealing she was passing the time in quarantine by colouring.

It comes shortly after Frankie was named the bookies favourite to win the new series of I'm A Celeb – which is due to hit screens on November 21.

Five years after husband Wayne Bridge’s stint in the jungle, the former S Club 8 star is being backed to go all the way and take home the crown.

According to exclusive odds from Betfair, Frankie's odds are at 4/1 followed by Louise Minchin at 9/2, with Arlene Phillips as least likely at 25/1.

Singer-turned-TV star Frankie is taking part after ITV chiefs are said to have offered her a bumper deal.

Former Chelsea footballer Wayne, 41, finished fifth in 2016, but was ticked off by Frankie for talking about their sex life.

Now he will be the one watching from home with their sons Parker, eight, and Carter, six, as Frankie sits around the campfire.

A source said: “Wayne really enjoyed his time in the Australian jungle, and Frankie is looking forward to giving the show a go too. She is pretty excited.

“She is nervous about leaving Wayne and the boys for such a long time, but she is determined to give the challenge her all and really throw herself in."

This year, the celebrities will once again be housed in Gwrych Castle in Wales – having swapped out the jungle due to difficult Covid quarantine rules.

Some of the stars set to take part in the series are already in quaratine at a cosy cottage – where they are staying in secret ahead of the series.

Rudemintal star DJ Locksmith and Snoochie Shy are among those spending two weeks in isolation to ensure the show is Covid-free.

Twelve famous faces will appear on our screens this winter as I'm A Celebrity kickstarts – including footballing heroes and Olympians.

Among them are soap legend Simon Gregson, who is best known for playing Steve McDonald in Corrie, and EastEnders' Adam Woodyatt.

Meanwhile, Dancing On Ice choreographer Arlene Phillips is set to become the oldest contestant yet – taking part at 78-years-old.

Loose Women star Frankie, Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley and Emmerdale's Danny Miller have also been revealed as contestants.

The final spots are filled by DJ Snoochie Shy, footballer David Ginola, Paralympian Kadeena Cox, BBC star Louise Minchin, diver Matty Lee, music producer Naught Boy and drummer DJ Locksmith.
