The Chase viewers were left cringing at their TV screens after chaser Shaun Wallace told his “worst player ever” to “get off.”
The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Tuesday (May 2) as host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers onto the show looking to bag some serious cash
As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the former Corrie star introduced contestants Romzan, Mapaseka, Sophie and Martin before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet was up against Shaun Wallace who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers.
However, it seemed Shaun was the butt of everyone’s joke – as several players made digs at Shaun – including Romzan.
Speaking about Shaun, Romzan branded him as “statistically the worst chaser ever.”
So when it came to Romzan’s time to face Shaun, all guns were blazing.
However, Romzan eventually got caught in the head-to-head, leading Shaun to quip: “I’ve just played against the worst player I’ve ever played against.”
But Shaun wasn’t done – as he then told Romzan to “get off.”
“Go on, get off,” he added, using his hands to show the way towards the exit.
And the tense moment didn’t go amiss from viewers at home who rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“Imagine coming at the chaser with the fighting talk then putting in that dismal performance,” said one viewer.
Another person rallied behind Shaun, saying: “Shaun might be the worst chaser, but he's still much better than the average contestant.”
“Fancy being so rude to a chaser,” mused a third viewer watching the show at home.
When it came to Mapaseka's turn to take on Shaun – she also made a savage dig by claiming he looks like a US Drag Queen.
