Love Is Blind cast now – happily married, cheating claims and savage split

Love Is Blind created multiple couples during their match making process, with the impressive new concept hitting Netflix in 2020.

Couples were meeting one another behind a screen and slowly getting to know each other without seeing what they looked like, giving them only personality to go off alone.

Once they had met their match based on personality, they were then set up to spend some time away with the other couple, before moving in together for a brief time.

If, by the end of the project, they were still happy together, they would get married for the world to see.

Impressively, some of the couples did actually end up getting married, and it seems they did get their happily ever after.

But it wasn't plain sailing for all of the duos, with some of them splitting immediately, while others tried to work on their relationship without the pressures of being on a TV show setting in.

As Love Is Blind prepares for series two, Daily Star has taken a look into series one to remind fans how successful the show can actually be.

Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton

Fans couldn't help but fall in love with Lauren and Cameron immediately. The pair had an undeniable connection and although it looked rocky when they met the family, when Lauren's dad attended the wedding it was plain sailing afterwards.

The pair tied the knot in a sweet ceremony and have been together ever since.

The pair have made a YouTube channel, have launched their own projects and are undoubtedly infatuated with one another.

Although the show aired two years ago, the pair have been married longer than that, with the filming taking place way before the launch date.

Cameron and Lauren released a book shortly after, titled Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way, as they detailed their true love story.

Giannina Gilbelli and Damian Powers

Unfortunately, their wedding didn't go as expected, but although they didn't exchange vows – which saw an iconic run away scene from Giannina, they did decide to stay together and work on their relationship.

However, during the reunion, Giannina confirmed that the couple have officially parted ways.

Giannina said shortly after that she is "officially single", and that she's "really good", after the pair split after three years together, having met in 2018 for filming.

She said to Entertainment Tonight: "For the first time in like three years I feel like I don't have to keep some sort of my life private anymore," but added she doesn't regret their relationship.

Fury erupted around the pair when Damian invited Too Hot to Handle's Francesca Farago to the Love Is Blind reunion while he was still with Giannina.

The pair called time on their romance soon after.

Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes

Kelly and Kenny won over the hearts of the viewers and were certainly up there as one of the favourite couples, but in an odd twist, they decided on the day that they couldn't say their vows.

It was later revealed that they had decided weeks before to not wed on the show, but their romance still fell apart.

Kelly revealed at the reunion that Kenny dumped her on the last day of filming, and the pair have since gone their complete separate ways.

Months after the series aired on Netflix, Kenny proposed to his girlfriend Alexandra Garrison, while Kelly has focused on her business – and it seems she has no hard feelings.

Kelly congratulated him on his engagement and said that he deserves "all the happiness" as she praised her brief ex.

Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas

Mark and Jessica were doomed from the beginning, with feelings for other people still surrounding their romance, but they got engaged regardless.

They ultimately parted ways after not going through with the wedding and shortly after the series came to a close, he was reported to be dating Lauren Chamblin, aka LC, who was also on the show.

Months after the series dropped it was reported that he had been with "multiple women" during the show, which he denied and said he was "fully committed" to the process and to Jessica.

Mark opted to snub the Love Is Blind reunion, and it seems he has put his past far behind him and has since got engaged and has welcomed a child with his new partner.

Jessica has also put the past in the past, with the star now engaged to her new beau Benjamin McGrath.

Amber Pike and Matt Barnett

Love Is Blind viewers really doubted Amber and Barnett when they first started dating. The pair met on the show in 2018, and in 2020, when it aired, they confirmed they were still together.

The duo are still happily loved up now and have truly built a solid foundation for their blooming romance.

Only this week the pair shared a loved-up snap together as they're away in cooler climates, and just last month Amber opened up on her romance with her beau.

Sharing a sweet clip, she wrote: "I know a lot of people have their opinions about Matt and I and how we live our life… but looking back at this past year only solidifies that IDGAF."

She added: "I have been nothing less than blessed to find a partner that looks at life the same way that I do, as an adventure meant to be lived out instead of just dreamt about."

Barnett responded: "I love our life together! Wouldn't trade this adventure for anything else."

With their impressive romance powering through, who out of the next bunch of singles could make it all the way to the altar, and then some?
