Love Island stars Zachariah Noble and Molly Marsh have taken their relationship to the next level after he asked her to be his girlfriend during the live final.

"I lost you once, I won't lose you twice, let's make it official," Zach said, during an emotional speech to Molly. "What you saying? Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

His question was met with cheers from his fellow Islanders looking on, but fans of the show remain skeptical about the pairing and have accused them of becoming official in a bid to score more votes.

They ended up finishing in fourth place.

"Feels like they’re saying this to win, idk," one fan on Twitter said, while another added that they're "not feeling the authenticity from Zach."

A third joked: "Nothing is convincing me Zach likes Molly… He got more chemistry with Mitch."

Another fan brutally claimed that Zach was "forced" to ask Molly to be his girlfriend after she emotionally told him she loved him during her speech.
