Love Island pay tribute to The Wanted’s Tom Parker as Davide looks baffled

Love Island fans were left in fits of laughter as Davide looked confused as the male Islanders belted out The Wanted's hit song, Glad You Came.

During Saturday's [June 25] episode of Unseen Bits, the lads looked as though were having a whale of a time as they danced around the crisp and clean bedroom.

But while everybody seemed to be getting into the spirit of belting the song that topped the charts in 2011, Davide looked bewildered as he attempted to sing along with the famous lyrics.

While some fans have commented that it was a touching tribute to Tom Parker of The Wanted who died aged 33, some found Davide's reaction hilarious.

"Lol u can tell Davide has never heard The Wanted before #LoveIsland," commented one.

While a second added: "Davide not knowing the words to The Wanted #LoveIsland," alongside an awkward gif.

"Davide whilst the boys were singing because he doesn’t know the words #LoveIsland," typed a third.

While Davide seemed bewildered, fans couldn't help but gush over the sweet tribute from the rest of the lads – particularly as the islanders singing has rarely been allowed on the show.

One user wrote: "Omg not Glad You Came by The Wanted being played on Unseen Bits… still so raw hearing this song."

While another said: "Hearing The Wanted on #LoveIsland Unseen Bits just makes me sad thinking of the member that died recently."

A third wrote: "Not the boys singing The Wanted crying emojis]."

The Wanted themselves also shared a clip of the lads jumping and dancing around to the hit track as they wrote: "@loveisland Glad You Came [tongue emoji]."

Fans were happy to see the song on the show following the tragic death of the late Tom Parker earlier this year after a battle with cancer.

The news was confirmed through the band's Instagram as they shared tribute to their bandmate Tom who passed away peacefully in March.

In the statement they wrote: "He was our brother, words can't express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts."
