MARK Wright has hit back at the suggestion he was acting inappropriately with a ‘mystery blonde’ at V Festival – by revealing she is in fact an ‘old family friend’.
The former Towie star was pictured nuzzling the neck of the pretty woman before appearing to kiss it, as they hugged for over an hour, according to Now magazine.
But today the Essex lad – whose mates became embroiled in a row with Danny Dyer at the festival – branded the images 'nonsense' before revealing exactly who the lady was.
He wrote: “This is Jo, an old family friend of 15 years, mother of three children and is like an auntie to me.”
Despite Mark’s comments, an onlooker at the festival admitted they would not have been happy to witness their husband acting like that.
The eyewitness told Now mag: “When I realised that it was Mark Wright in front of me with his arms wrapped around another girl, I was genuinely shocked. I never pay attend to gossip but I thought he was loved-up with Michelle.

“He was hugging and singing to her – they were acting like a couple. If that was my husband, I’d be gutted. My friends couldn’t believe it. We all looked on in disbelief. I am still stunned.”
Mark had attended the festival in Essex alongside a group of mates while his wife Michelle Keegan remained in Manchester for work.
But it wasn’t just the intimate pictures with Jo that raised eyebrows – he also hit headlines after his mates came to blows with Danny Dyer.
EastEnders star Danny ended up with a black eye after stepping in as his daughter Dani screamed abuse about Mark to his mates – even though the reality star was nowhere in sight.
A woman who witnessed Danny throw the first punch told The Sun Online: “One of Mark’s friends tried to get her to go away and told her to ‘shut up’ but she wouldn’t stop shouting.
"It was like she was trying to provoke them as she was in their faces and getting louder and louder – it was then that Danny Dyer came round the corner to intervene and I saw him throw a punch at one of them.”
They added: “Danny’s daughter was still shouting when Mark Wright arrived – he looked really shocked and rushed over to try to stop things getting worse.
“Mark reached out for Danny and shook his hand and they had a chat afterwards – it seemed like it was all water under the bridge as they both smiled, shook hands again and walked away. It seemed friendly in the end.”
