LOVE Island star Molly-Mae Hague revealed that her only goal following her TV appearance was to have £1million in her bank account.
The reality TV contestant – who took part in the ITV2 dating show in 2019 – went on to detail how she set her sights on doubling it soon after banking the cash.
Molly-Mae, 22, went on to capitalise on a number of opportunities following her TV fame – including her own fake tanning brand.
In 2021, the TV star became the creative director of the online clothing brand PrettyLittleThing, a title which held an impressive seven-figure salary.
She had quickly achieved her dreams of banking more than £1million in earnings just months after exiting Love Island with boyfriend Tommy Fury.
However, Molly-Mae recently revealed that it wasn't enough of a success and very shortly after was keen to "make it £2million" by building on her brand.
Speaking on YouTube series The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett, the business-minded influencer opened up about the hopes for her career.
"I knew the minute I came off [Love Island] that I just wanted to do crazy things," she explained of her career success.
"One thing for me it's when I reach one goal it's then, 'What can I achieve next?' as it's never enough for me. It's a bit of a downside to my personality – when I achieve something incredible, I just want more. I always want more.
"I remember when my goal was I really want to get a million pounds in my bank account. That is all I wanted to do. That was my goal.
"The minute I reached I was like, 'I want two. I want £2million'. It's like, I never am happy with where I'm at – I'm constantly working towards the next thing."
She went on to conclude: "It's never enough for me, even when I went on to get my biggest dream collabs, it was always just, 'What can I get next?'"

It comes as Molly-Mae faces huge backlash from social media users after a clip from the podcast went viral for being "tone deaf" on the poverty divide.
On January 5, the clip from the online chat began to circulate on Instagram as fans lashed out over her comments about poverty.
In the now-viral video, she claimed she has "worked my absolute a*** off to get where I am now" and "everyone has the same 24 hours".
Molly-Mae could be heard saying: “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it. You can literally go in any direction.
"When I’ve spoken about that in the past, I have been slammed a little bit with people saying, 'It’s easy for you to say that because you’ve not grown up in poverty, so for you to sit there and say we all have the same 24 hours in a day is not correct'.
She went on: "I understand we all have different backgrounds and we're all raised in different ways and we do have different financial situations, but I think if you want something enough you can achieve it.
"It just depends on what lengths you want to go to get where you want to be in the future. And I'll go to any length."
She then added: "I've worked my absolute a**e off to get where I am now."
In light of the comments, thousands of social media users took up arms to slam the reality TV star turned influencer – including some of her fellow islanders.
'SPEAKING ON HER OWN EXPERIENCE'
Today, Molly-Mae broke her silence on the "tone deaf" comments, insisting her thoughts had been taken out of context and quotes have been fabricated.
A statement from Molly-Mae's team, which was approved by the influencer, read: "Molly did a podcast interview in December about her own rise to success.
"If you listen to the full conversation and interview Molly was asked about how the nature of her potential grows and how she believes in herself.
"This part of the interview was discussing time efficiency relating to success. Molly refers to a quote which says “We all have the same 24 hours in a day as Beyonce”.
"She was discussing her own experience and how she can resonate with this specific quote.
"Her opinion on if you want something enough you can work hard to achieve it is how she keeps determined with her own work to achieve more in her own life.
"Molly is not commenting on anyone else’s life or personal situation she can only speak of her own experience.”
The statement goes on to say how Molly is fully aware that everyone comes from “different backgrounds”, but was simply discussing her own journey.
“Social media users have shared a snippet from this interview with words such as 'If you are homeless buy a house' and 'If you are poor be poor'," it concluded.
"These are absolutely not Molly’s words, these are not Molly’s thoughts and this isn’t at all the meaning or thought behind that conversation.”
RISE TO THE TOP
Molly shot to fame on ITV2’s Love Island in 2019 when she and boyfriend Tommy Fury, also 22, finished second.
Nearly three years on from her appearance on the series, Molly has seen her career as an influencer reach new heights, launching her own fake-tan brand.
In August 2021, Molly-Mae – who is thought to be worth around £2million – announced she had been named the new creative director of PrettyLittleThing.
PrettyLittleThing’s CEO Umar Kamani spoke of the partnership: "This felt like a natural fit for us.
"Molly has been a huge part of our PrettyLittleThing journey and she is so invested in the brand.
"We wanted to explore different avenues together and bring her on board as more of a creative, where she can work closely with our team and be involved in our wider strategy across the UK and Europe over the next 12 months."
