DR NEIL FOX broke his silence for the first time in three years on my talkRADIO show to reach out to JLS star Oritse Williams after he was cleared of rape, three years after his arrest.
The former Magic FM DJ was cleared of all charges after being accused of two counts of sexual assault and eight counts of indecent assault in 2014.
Speaking about Oritse’s case, Dr Fox, who’s just launched new app Beat The Intro, said: “I know from being in the radio, your whole life is about people liking you and this guy was in a pop band.
"You are thrown into something like this and you have to go into hiding and no one wants to touch you.
“My QC said in my summing up that things like this can be toxic and it takes a long time for it to settle down afterwards. For a long time you’re just fodder.
“I hope he finds a way of getting through this now he’s getting cleared.
“My motto throughout was to come out better, not bitter.
