Tommy Egan himself, Joseph Sikora, has treated fans to a stunning sneak peek at the highly anticipated second season of his very own Power spin-off. The New York gangster will be back on Starz and tougher than ever next year after upping sticks and moving to Chicago, and Omari Hardwick sent a message of support once the trailer was released on Instagram.

Omari, best known as James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick, has hyped up the brand new trailer for Force season two on Joseph’s personal Instagram.

The very brief trailer reveals a new look at Tommy as he starts to gain more power in the Chicago underworld.

Dramatic music plays as Tommy enters a room with a pistol, beats up a thug and casually walks away from an explosion.

The footage ends with the protagonist surveying his new surroundings as a caption simply reads, “Season Two”.

Joseph releasing this latest trailer in time for Christmas could be a sign more footage will be coming over the next couple of weeks.

The actor accompanied the post with an excited caption reading: “LFGOOOOO!”

Some Power fans were thrilled when Joseph’s former co-star Omari later took to the comments with his own message of appreciation.

He replied from @omarihardwickofficial: “Go get it…”

Omari’s post quickly racked up several likes as fans showed their own excitement for the new trailer.

And, of course, some of the responses couldn’t help suggesting the actor’s latest interaction on social media could be a sign Ghost will be resurrected in the near future.

Instagram user @__donleeofficial__ replied to Omari: “We know you ain’t dead Ghost.”

And deehsv256 added: “OMG I miss you so much. You need to resurrect yourself. Ghost is the GOAT.”

Elsewhere, Force’s official Instagram account promised fans, “We comin’”, adding an appropriate fist emoji to the comment.

Several Power regulars also made themselves known in the comments, with the likes of Shane Harper, Isaac Keys and Chris D Lofton replying with supportive emojis.

The latest social media marketing seems to indicate fans are several steps closer to finding out when new episodes of Force will finally air.

Power’s third spin-off series debuted earlier this year and pitted Tommy against a dangerous Chicago crime family following his decision to move after the death of Ghost.

There he met his estranged half-brother JP Gibbs (Anthony Fleming) and met his match in the form of local kingpin Walter Flynn (Tommy Flanagan).

Season two is now expected to surface in the first half of 2023, though an exact release date has yet to be determined.

However, an earlier release date could be likely, as Outlander’s seventh season has just been confirmed for a summer 2023 release by Starz.

As the network will be keen for the two shows not to clash, viewers could be looking at a February or March premiere in keeping with the release of Force’s first season.

Power is available on Starz in the USA and Lionsgate+ via Prime Video in the UK.
