Rochelle Humes and Marvin tipped to replace Dancing On Ice’s Holly and Phil amid ‘feud’

The Dancing on Ice presenting line-up has been thrown into doubt amid the 'feud' between Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The presenting duo, who were once best friends over more than 20 years, have fronted the skating show since its debut in 2006, but there has been speculation of what will happen since Phillip quit presenting This Morning.

Rumours of a fall-out between Holly, 41, and Phil, 62, began swirling earlier this month, with talk of tension on-set and the two of them 'barely speaking' once the cameras stopped rolling.

The due of them put on a united front for the show last week, but at the weekend, Phillip stepped down amid reports that his 'feud' with Holly reached new heights.

He said in his statement: "I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story."

An ITV spokesman recently confirmed that no decisions have been made about Dancing on Ice, as the show's winter return date is months away.

However, This Morning's Rochelle Humes and her husband former JLS member Marvin have been tipped as the favourites to replace them.

Rochelle has previously joined Phil to host This Morning, and hosts BBC's The Hit List with husband Marvin.

According to Gambling.com, Rochelle's odds on becoming the next host of Dancing on Ice are at 6/5 while Marvin is on 7/1.

A spokesperson from ITV has addressed the suggestion Phillip could leave Dancing on Ice too, telling Metro.co.uk: "Dancing on Ice isn't due on ITV until January 2024 and the series is not currently in productions."

"Further announcements" about the show, including the presenter line-up will be announced in "due course".

Despite his future on Dancing on Ice still hanging in the balance, ITV bosses have already announced that Phil will be fronting a "brand new peak time series.

ITV's managing director, media and entertainment, Kevin Lygo said: "Phillip is hands-down one of the best broadcasters of his generation and we thank him for his two decades worth of absolutely terrific television on the This Morning sofa.

"This Morning is made by one of the best and most diligent teams in television, who produce over 12 hours of live television each week.

"We look forward to continuing our relationship with Phillip starting with The British Soap Awards in June and a brand new peak time series to come."
