Ronan Keating was surprised when his son Jack said he was retired on Love Island on Monday night (June 3).
Jack has joined Casa Amor as one of the six new boys at Casa Amor and he is hoping to find love with one of the girls.
The 23-year-old wasted no time and started talking to Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma.

Talking to The One Show's Jermaine Jenas and Alex Jones, Ronan said that he "is definitely not retired" even though his son says otherwise.
He said: "He did drop the line that I was retired, that I was shocked about!
"I nearly fell off me chair! What? I'm doing The One Show next week, I'm in York tonight!"
He then confirmed: "No I'm definitely not retired!"
The Boyzone star went on to say that he hopes that the public will warm to his "shy" son Jack and explained he just wants "to protect him".
It comes after Jack's mum hit back at nasty comments made about her son.
Yvonne thanked fans for their outpouring of positive messages she has received on Instagram, however she also addressed some of the negative comments received at the hands of trolls.
Ahead of Sunday’s episode, she posted to her followers saying: “After the teaser I’m looking forward to watching Jack tonight on Love Island.”
Adding: “Thank you so much for all your comments. All positive (can’t say the same for other platforms!).”
Thanking her 37,000 followers she also wrote: “So many people wishing Jack well and rooting for him. It means so much. My heart."
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITV at 9pm
