Stacey Solomon’s Loose Women return date confirmed following birth of Rose

Loose Women viewers have been missing popular panellist Stacey Solomon since she went on maternity leave to welcome baby daughter Rose.

So they’ll be thrilled to hear that Stacey is making her much welcome comeback to the ITV lunchtime show in a matter of days – and she's bringing her daughter with her too.

The 32 year old TV star, who gave birth to Rose in October, will be joining her Loose Women co-stars for a special addition of the programme that will air on Christmas Eve (24 December).

Stacey, who has recently been on screens with fan favourite BBC lifestyle series Sort Your Life Out, will sit side by side with her fiance Joe Swash for a joint interview with little Rose.

The news was announced in a special teaser clip promoting the ITV series’ Christmas special.

In the short video, anchor Ruth Langsford tells Loose Women fans what they can expect from the festive addition, before adding: “Plus, Stacey and Joe will be dropping by for their first ever TV interview with baby Rose.”

The TV host, who is married to Eamonn Holmes, continues: “That's Loose Women on Christmas Eve at the special time of 10am.”

Stacey and Joe’s appearance will mark one year since they got engaged when Joe got down on one knee in a magical woodland Christmas Eve proposal.

Previously opening up about the romantic moment, Stacey said: “We were all in the house, it was Christmas Eve, I had made everyone wear gnome jumpers.”

She continued: “We go for a walk in the woods behind our house every day, it’s been a saviour in lockdown… and Joe was like, ‘Come on, we’ve got to go for a Christmas Eve walk.”

Stacey went on to say that while Joe tried to rush her out of the house, she was completely oblivious to his plans.

However, when the reality of the situation dawned on her, Stacey said the emotion of the moment swept over her.

Stacey explained: "As soon as he said my full name, he said ‘Stacey Solomon’ and I was like, it’s happening, it’s finally happening to me and that was it.”

“He got down on one knee and then I got really ugly crying face. He was like, ‘What you are going to say?’I must not have said yes for ages because he was just down on the floor and I kept going, ‘Come on get up now!’”

"And he was like, ‘Well will you?’. He said, ‘Boys, what should she say?’ Then I was like ‘Yes, yes, yes, get up!'"
