STRICTLY is facing a fresh fix row after Amanda Abbington’s shock exit – with fans claiming judges are ‘undermarking’ one couple.
Actress Amanda, 49, shocked the nation when she made the decision to leave the competition after missing last weekend’s show with Giovanni Pernice for "undisclosed medical reasons".
And viewers were left annoyed after Angela Scanlon, 39, was harshly critiqued for the fifth consecutive week on Saturday.
Many watching felt she and her dance partner Carlos Gu, 30, were at a distinct disadvantage compared to the other contestants.
The pair had received 23 points out of 40 for their Tango to Prisoner by Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one wrote, "Feel like Nigel, Angela S and Annabel all cruelly undermarked tonight, personally."

Another added, "I’m sick of Angela Scanlon be overly judged and undermarked while others like Nigel and Layton are overmarked. The judging for Ellie was completely over the top she didn’t do any dancing for the first 30 seconds. Len would have said less faff please."
Someone else said, "As usual, i feel angela and carlos were undermarked," while a fourth agreed, "Angela undermarked!"
Amanda had been expected to make a return on Saturday night for the BBC show's Halloween special.
However, the Sherlock star soon left the competition – leaving viewers devastated.

The reason behind Amanda's sudden departure is expected to be revealed on Strictly's It Takes Two tonight.
On Saturday night, host Claudia Winkleman told viewers: “Now as you may have noticed, Amanda and Giovanni are missing from the lineup. Due to medical reasons Amanda is unable to perform this week.”
Tess Daly added: “As per the rules of the competition she has been given a bye and all being well will return to the ballroom next weekend.”
The Sun reported last month how Amanda and her Italian dance partner Giovanni had clashed — with the actress threatening to quit over the dance pro’s “militant” attitude to training.
Following reports of a rift, Giovanni said: “It’s a difficult process, especially for people who have never done Strictly before.”
Amanda, shared a quote on her Instagram stories from the late actor and comedian Robin Williams, before swiftly deleting it.
The post read: "People don't fake depression… they fake being okay. Remember that. Be kind."
