More recently Shirley Ballas was added to the line-up in 2017. The dance champ replaced the late showbiz veteran Len Goodman as head judge.
But now, it’s been claimed a fifth judge could be added to the panel. And AI reckons it could be a TV star from a rival channel and show.
Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI, to see if the show could add a fifth judge. The program responded: “There have been rumors of a potential expansion of the judging panel.”
Bard AI then suggested none other than Dancing On Ice stars Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as either being a potential fifth judge. The two skating legends have been a part of the ITV show since 2006.
The system said: “They have the experience, the expertise, and the popularity to be successful in the role.” It went on: “They have a deep understanding of dance technique and performance, and they are able to give clear and concise feedback to contestants.“
