The View co-hosts react following Lizzo denying allegations
Joy Behar allegedly didn’t want to part of the Jersey Shore interview on The View due to her ongoing dispute with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
Joey Camasta, Snooki’s make-up artist and It’s Happening podcast co-host, told Page Six that Behar “chose not to be in the segment and was hiding the whole time”.
Camasta added it had been “awkward” during the last couple of appearances they had to work together.
The make-up artist, who was “off to the side” during the interview, said: “So then this time when we went back, she famously was not in the segment, so she stayed away. She didn’t want to be involved in that segment, apparently.”
However, a source close to production told the publication there was “no truth” to what Camasta claimed.

The insider said: “It was a production decision to have three of the five co-hosts in the segment to make space for their seven cast members so everyone gets a chance to talk.”
Instead, the segment was conducted by Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sarah Haines.
Following the interview, Polizzi labelled Behar as the “rudest celebrity” and on Watch What Happens Live, the 35-year-old said The View star was her worst celebrity encounter.
The MTV star explained: “Joy was so mean to me. She cornered me in the bathroom!”, Polizzi alleged, adding “And said, ‘You’re not Italian!’”

Back in 2010, Behar said the cast was “stupid” on The View, stating that people were “laughing at them, not with them”.
“Let me tell you something about those kids, OK. I grew up with kids who were just like that,” she said.
“This is personal. I was picked on by kids like that.”
In retaliation, Polizzi released an eight-minute video that went viral, mocking Behar, the following year.
Snooki imitated Behar and said she was “f**king obsessed” with her.
But she did later on apologise for the video, admitting to feeling “bad” about it on the Wendy Williams Show.
Snooki apologised and Behar was said to have accepted the apology at the time.
The View is available to watch on ABC.
