This Morning viewers were left sickened during a medical discussion on Thursday's episode of the ITV show.
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes welcomed Doctor Philippa into the studios to talk about back to school illnesses such as head lice and threadworms.
Threadworms (pinworms) are tiny worms found in faeces that are common in children.
They can cause extreme itching around the anus or vagina, particularly at night.
Doctor Philippa explained: "They look like little white pieces of cotton thread," before adding "these eggs are rather tenacious".
While the presenters spoke about threadworms, viewers were disgusted as they claimed they were put off their breakfast.
One said: "Gone off eating this piece of toast… #thismorning".
While another wrote: "Aww for f**k sake I've just sat down with breakfast #ThisMorning."
"Thank god that segment is over. That was disgusting #ThisMorning", penned a third.
During a chat about head lice, Rochelle admitted the discussion made her want to scratch her head.
Another viewer said: "Absolutely loving Rochelle's face whilst discussing nits & threadworms, remember going through all that when the kids were young & yep its awful I hated it #ThisMorning."
