Daily Star’s Inside Hot TV newsletter sees Ed Gleave send you telly’s hot takes straight to your inbox every Sunday
Tipping Point viewers became frustrated with the finalist on Friday’s show after they noticed one player’s annoying habit.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to share their complaints about Royal Marine Si, after he launched into a “running commentary” before answering the multiple choice questions.
Si made it to the final round to play for the jackpot counter, but annoyed viewers by talking too much.
He took his time explaining his answers before each question, at one point even giving a history lesson about the Egyptian, Persian and Roman empires.
Viewers at home were not impressed and begged the players to just “stfu and just get on with it”.
“Seriously Si stop with the running commentary. Answer the questions and say drop zone 4,” pleaded one fan.
Another asked: “Is Si going to give us a running commentary all the way through?”
“He’s a Royal Marine, but if he’s ever in a position where he’s about to shoot you, ask him a serious of multiple choice general questions to buy yourself a bit of time,” joked a third.
Someone else advised: “Probably best to say nothing apart from your answer Si.”
A fifth begged: “Just. Give. The. Damn. Answers.”
Another person complained: “We don’t need your life stories!”
Si eventually managed to get the jackpot counter to drop and took home a whopping £10,000 which he told host Ben Shephard he would be putting towards a new house.

Si also took home six months of baking ingredients as he won a mystery prize earlier in the night.
However fans noticed that he was close to making it £20,000 as the double counter teetered on the edge.
“Ooooo that was close to being a jackpot plus the double then,” noted one fan.
Someone else praised: “Wow, Si nearly got the £20k then! Well done!!!”
A third commented: “And the double was so close to falling too!”
