Horror as child is airlifted to hospital after ‘falling out of moving car’ on the M25

  • A child ‘fell from a moving car’ onto the A127 slip road on the M25 motorway 
  • Police confirmed the child was taken to hospital without significant injuries 

A child has been rushed to a hospital after ‘falling out of a moving car’ on the M25.

The accident happened at around 11:30am Sunday, with the youth reportedly falling onto the A127 slip road near Junction 29.

Essex Police confirmed the child had been taken to hospital without serious injuries.

They said: ‘Air ambulance were in attendance and the child has been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.’

Significant disruption was reported on the motorway around the scene of the accident earlier today.

Traffic was reportedly held for 25 minutes as emergency services responded. 

People were asked to stay in their vehicles while police were on the scene.

All lanes were reopened around 1:15pm. 

The age of the child has not been reported and police are still investigating the incident.
