The devastated mother of a cyclist knocked off his bike and stabbed to death in a gangland chase has paid tribute to her ‘beautiful handsome boy.’

Kyron Lesner, 21, had been riding a bike in Slough, Berkshire, when it collided with a car believed to be a black Volkswagen Golf at around 8.50pm.

After the collision in Earls Lane, four men got out of the car and chased Kyron into Waterman Court, Cippenham, where he was fatally attacked.

He was fatally stabbed and the men then fled the scene in the VW Golf.

Paramedics were called and attempted to save the life of the cyclist, who suffered serious injuries in the attack.

But Kyron was pronounced dead just after 9.45pm on Sunday following the incident in Cippenham.

His heartbroken family paid tribute to him, with mother Donna describing him as her ‘beautiful handsome boy.’

She wrote: ‘My beautiful handsome boy, we’ll meet again someday, love you so incredibly much my heart aches. My gorgeous son, your smile was cheeky and your laughter lit up everyone around you it was so infectious, you didn’t deserve this and I will honour you, Kyron – that is a promise.

His mother continued: ‘Why is my only question, which I can’t find the answers, nothing can warrant or justify for what they did to you my beautiful baby boy. Mummy loves you and it’s going to be the most painful thing I’ve ever felt but you deserve the absolute best and you’ll never be forgotten. A mother should never be the one to bury any of their children, Kyron you should be the one that buries me.

‘You were extremely loved by many, your smile and laughter will never be forgotten and your name will live on and one day we’ll all be together again because that’s what you wanted the most. Kyron baby I would of taken your place if it was possible unfortunately nothing can change the course of events and I [am] so incredibly lost without you son.

‘Please let me pray for justice and may you live on through each and everyone’s hearts. And the memories of you are remembered and everything you did never ever be forgotten. May you sleep until we meet again. Wow it’s painful baby boy. I’ll try my best to honour everything. You were my son.’

Their tributes come as flowers and messages of condolence yesterday started to appear at the scene of the attack.

Friends brought bottles of brandy which was poured into plastic cups and shared around.

Four of the group raised a toast to their friend and left behind the half empty bottle.

One friend told MailOnline: ‘I’ve known Kyron for years. He was too young to die. He didn’t deserve to die.’

Several young women brought flowers to lay with the more than a dozen that had been left on the corner of Waterman’s Court in Cippenham.

Poignant messages had been attached to cards left with the flowers.

One said: ‘Mum and I will never forget you Kyron. You were the best.’ Another read: ‘You were taken from us too young. RIP Kyron.’

Others took to social media to pay their respects. One friend wrote on Facebook: ‘RIP To The Most Kindest And Genuine Soul/Person Ever.

‘We Had Some Funny Moments. You Was Taken Too Young. We All Missing You And Thinking About You. Rest Up Easy.’

Another wrote: ‘RIP to this little legend. What a good soul he had too. Rest in peace Kyron bro.’

A local shopkeeper said: ‘People have been talking about this, but I did not know the person who died.

‘It is awful. You don’t expect this sort of thing around here. There is nothing but homes, and it is usually so quiet.’

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to come forward.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard, of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit said: ‘This is a tragic and shocking incident, which has resulted in the death of a 21-year-old man.

‘Details at this very early stage are limited, including descriptions of the offenders. It is therefore incredibly important that we hear from anyone who witnessed any part of this incident.

‘If you saw the offence itself, or if you saw a black VW Golf driving in the area prior to or after the incident, please get in touch. The vehicle may well have damage as a result of the collision. We would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage which could be relevant.

‘Our officers are at the scene and will remain so while our investigation continues. I appreciate that a serious incident such as this may create a lot of concern in the community, but a detailed and thorough investigation is underway and at this time there is no indication that there is any wider risk to the public.

‘If any members of the local community do have concerns please speak to one of our officers at the scene. If you have any information that you think could help the police, please call 101, quoting reference number 20221002-1905.’

The death of the cyclist comes on the same weekend two bodies were discovered in the same park in Slough.

Detectives from the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Team were called to Baylis Park in Slough, on Saturday, after the body of a 65-year-old man was discovered.

His death is being treated as ‘unexplained but not suspicious’.

On Sunday, a second body, that of a man aged in his 40s, was found just yards away from where the first body was discovered.

Police are not yet sure if the two deaths are linked and it is not currently believed that the incidents are related to the death of the cyclist.

Detective Chief Inspector Howard, speaking following the discovery of the second body, said: ‘We are working to find out what links the deaths of these two men. It may be that the deaths, while tragic, are not deemed to be suspicious.

‘However, the fact that two bodies have been found in close proximity to each other, in a short period of time, means that we need to establish the exact circumstances.

‘While these incidents will no doubt cause concern to people in and around Slough, I’d like to reassure people that we are conducting a full and thorough investigation.

‘I would like to reiterate that at this stage that these deaths are being treated as sudden and unexplained.

‘There is a great deal of work to do to find out exactly what has happened and whether there is any link at all between these deaths. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to approach officers at the scene.’
