THE FAMILY of a 21-year-old woman who was stabbed to death in Leicester have paid tribute to their "beautiful, kind and sweet" daughter.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after Bhavini Pravin was found dead in Moores Road, yesterday.
Police were called to reports a young woman had been seriously injured at 12.39pm, yesterday.
Bhavini was pronounced dead at an address in Moores Road, Belgrave and a murder investigation was launched.
The young woman's family paid tribute to their "beautiful girl" in a touching statement.
"Our world has been ripped apart by her death and we can’t believe she has gone," they said.
"A light has gone out in our lives.
"Bhavini was a devoted daughter and sister, loved by all who knew her.
"She was beautiful, kind and sweet. Our lives will never be the same without her.
"All we can hope for is Bhavini to be at peace and for our request for privacy to be respected."

A post mortem examination revealed Bhavini died as a result of stab wounds.
Police have been carrying out house-to-house inquiries and collecting CCTV footage as they piece together the moments leading up to Bhavini's death.
They said early indications suggested Bhavini and the 23-year-old man who has been arrested, were known to each other.
Detective Inspector Kenny Henry from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) Major Crime team is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

He said: "Her family are understandably devastated by her death and we owe it to them, and Bhavini, to determine exactly what happened.
“Bhavini’s relatives have asked to be left alone at this difficult time to grieve and try to make sense of what has happened to their daughter.”
