A SUSPICIOUS item spotted at Paddington station forced platforms to be closed off this morning.
British Transport Police confirmed they were investigating, but have since said the item was "non-suspicious".
It is understood police had been called to the station just before 8.30am.
Platforms 10 to 14 were closed off, as well as the taxi rank area.
The authority has since thanked commuters for their patience, saying cordons were being lifted.
The taxi rank was reopened about 10.30am on Monday, with most trains on time.
