A MUM has been accused of running over her daughter while three times the drink drive limit before dragging her down the street as she screamed in agony.
Dale Palmer allegedly got behind the wheel of her Toyota shortly after midnight on Sunday on leaving her son's 21st birthday party in Sydney.
She is then said to have hit Keely Palmer, 27, and dragged her underneath the vehicle before slamming on the brakes, reports Daily Mail Australia.
Shocked Amber Wardrop-Barros, who lives near the street where the party was held, told 9 News Keely was left screaming in agony after being hit.
"She was just bellowing, crying, screaming. It was pretty shocking," she told reporters.
Emergency crews reportedly worked for more than an hour to free Keely from underneath the car before she was taken to hospital with serious leg and arm injuries.
Her 58-year-old mum took a breath test at the scene which allegedly returned a positive result and she was arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station.
Cops later charged her with aggravated dangerous driving, occasioning grievous bodily harm and high-range drink driving.
Chief Inspector Gary Ford said his officers are now investigating exactly what happened.

He said: "There was a family gathering at the mother's house and an incident occurred in a street outside a driveway.
"The 27-year-old woman is not well enough to be spoken to at this time.
"She was trapped underneath that vehicle for a little over an hour before emergency services were able to free her."
