Conservative talk radio pioneer Rush Limbaugh, who died Wednesday after a year-long battle with cancer, took a dig at President Joe Biden in his final Facebook post two weeks before his death.

“Biden canceled ‘a major foreign policy speech,” folks, over two inches of snow. I kid you not,” Limbaugh wrote late on Feb. 2.

He added a link to a story on his website titled, “Biden Sees His Shadow, Cancels Major Speech.”

A day earlier, the president pulled the plug on a trip to the State Department, where he had been scheduled to deliver his first major foreign policy speech as commander in chief, citing the couple of inches of snow that fell in DC that weekend.

The speech was “rescheduled due to inclement weather,” a White House official told reporters.

“I don’t know, maybe Biden saw his shadow. What is this? Two inches of snow is gonna shut down Biden? Biden’s gonna put a lid on it for that?” Limbaugh wrote on his site.

At the end of his radio broadcast on Feb, 2, he admitted he had another host on standby in case he could not complete the show because of his deteriorating health. 

“Well, my friends, that’s it. Yet another excursion into broadcast excellence in the can. Enjoyed being with you today, always do. And look forward to the next time,” Limbaugh said.

“Thanks to Mark Steyn who has been in standby mode all day. Wasn’t sure I was going to be able to go today and then each hour I had to assess. But we made it. Thank you Mr Steyn. See you all next time,” he added.

Limbaugh also took another shot at Biden on Facebook that day.

“The odds are that there are a lot of people, coal miners, a lot of people that voted for Biden who had no idea what he’s gonna do and what’s yet to come,” he wrote.

Limbaugh’s death at age 70 was announced Wednesday on his influential radio program by his wife, Kathryn.

“I know that I am most certainly not the Limbaugh that you tuned in to listen to today. I, like you, very much wish Rush was behind this golden microphone right now, welcoming you to another exceptional three hours of broadcasting,” his wife told listeners in a surprise announcement.
