Why is Hunter Biden Squirtle trending?

A series of raunchy photos of Hunter Biden was published by the Daily Mail on April 8, 2021.

One photo included the son of President Joe Biden, two nearly naked women, a dog, and the Squirtle, which was in the corner of the room.

The image ignited a social media firestorm.

"The fact that squirtle is trending under politics is funny enough and then you find out its trending because there's a pic of hunter biden having a threesome in a room with a giant squirtle plushie and its just downright hilarious," one person tweeted.

Another wrote: "If Hunter Biden can have a threesome in front of Squirtle what’s keeping you from having one."

"I am disappointed in Hunter Biden's choice of Pokémon, instead of Squirtle he should have bought a Bulbasaur plushie," another person tweeted.

Another person tweeted: "hunter biden seems like a cool guy but personally I am against having sex in front of your dog and squirtle."

When was Hunter Biden's autobiography released?

Biden's tell-all autobiography Beautiful Things was released in April of 2021.

In the book he describes years of drug and alcohol addiction plus the numerous sexual encounters he had with women.

He claims smoking psychedelic toad venom kept him sober for more than a year as he experimented with different remedies to overcome his decades-long addiction to alcohol and drugs.

In a desperate attempt to get his life back on track, and with his marriage quickly unraveling, Hunter recounts how he traveled to a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico, in 2014, to try out drug treatments that were not legal in the US.

First, Hunter said he was given ibogaine, a psychedelic derived from plants which he projected a flickering "slideshow" of his life before him.

"The ibogaine therapy was dark," Hunter writes.

"After I ingested it alone in a quiet room inside the Tijuana clinic, a slideshow of my life had flickered before my eyes, one image-burst after another."
