Cher has proven once again that she can turn back time.
While in London for the premiere of “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again,” the pop diva hosted a special screening of her new movie to benefit her Free the Wild charity on Tuesday.
For the occasion, the superstar singer chose an ensemble that was rock ‘n’ roll on top, but zen on the bottom. Cher paired an embroidered Chrome Hearts leather jacket with a chainmail scarf, delicate matching metal top and a pair of black Alo Yoga “Airlift” leggings, settling the “Can leggings be pants?” debate once and for all.
Cher sported a very similar style in a throwback photo on the cover of her 2011 album “Icon,” a compilation of the singer’s greatest hits. The artwork features Cher clad in a leather jacket paired with a similar strappy chainmail top, albeit without a white tank top layered beneath for modesty.
