Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall, Kylie and Kris Jenner have graced our screens for ten years now on their hit reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kicking off in October 2007, the show has followed the lives of the six Kardashian/Jenner girls as they live their turbulent lives.
From marriages, divorces, cheating rumours, surgery and babies, the stars of the show have never failed to shock us with how much they share.
But one question that still hovers on people’s lips is: Is Keeping Up With The Kardashians fake?
Keeping Up With The Kardashians started back in 2007, with the show now celebrating their ten year anniversary [E!]
With a lot of reality TV, while fans love watching the drama unfold, they can’t help but wonder just how much of the show is real.
Over the years, some elements of the show have been exposed as fake – so, let’s look at the claims…
Panning into the show, viewers are usually given a glimpse of the outside of the star’s houses.
Kris Jenner’s house is not the one shown on the TV show, this is done for security reasons [E!]
One of the most regular over the year is Kris Jenner’s house.
However, it was recently revealed that the shot of the outside of Kris’ house is in fact not really her home.
For security reasons, the exterior shown on the show is part of a completely different building, with a VERY different interior.
Kris Humphries has claimed that they re-shot the scene when he proposed to Kim [Wenn]
In 2011 Kris Humphries asked Kim Kardashian to marry him by sprinkling rose petals in her room spelling: ‘Will you marry me?’
However, according to The Mirror, Kris claimed that they had to re-shoot the proposal because Kim didn’t like how she looked in the footage.
Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s on-off relationship has been well documented over the years by the show.
Apparently, Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian did not argue in real life as much as they did on the show [Getty]
And while fans see the couple as very argumentative, it appears that some of the stars’ fights were not as they seem.
Reportedly, to improve ratings for the show, the couple would create fights which they would later laugh about.
Kim and Kanye West finally got engaged in 2013 after the couple welcomed their daughter North West.
Kim was reportedly spotted wearing her engagement ring from Kanye a week before he proposed [Getty]
In an over-the-top moment, Kanye got down on one knee in a baseball park he rented to ask the star the big question.
However, reports at the time claimed to have seen Kim Kardashian wearing her engagement ring a week before she was supposed to have been proposed to.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns to E! on Sunday.
