Korn singer’s wife died from deadly drug cocktail

More details have emerged on the sudden death of Deven Davis, the late wife of Korn frontman Jonathan Davis.

According to TMZ, who obtained Deven’s autopsy report, she died from a fatal mixture of five different drugs.

Cocaine, heroin, clonazepam (a type of sedative for seizures), topiramate (for nerve pain) and fluoxetine (for depression) were discovered in her blood. Thus, the coroner ruled Deven’s death accidental.

She died in August at age 39, leaving behind two children with Jonathan.

The 47-year-old rocker also penned a letter explaining his late estranged wife’s mental illness.

“Over the past decade, my wife has been very, very sick,” he wrote. “She had a serious mental illness and her addiction was a side effect.”

The pair married in 2004 and split in 2016. Their marriage also produced two children, Pirate and Zeppelin.

In his open letter, he also promised to take good care of their kids saying he will “teach them the good values you wanted them to have so badly, and to break the cycle of abuse we both experienced as kids.”
