MARK Wright has revealed Niall Horan is to thank for his success in America after the former One Direction star gave him exclusive access to his first single.
The former TOWIE star is now one of the main presenters on US TV show Extra and got the job after impressing bosses with his A-list connections and willingness to drop everything to interview celebrities.
After his interview Mark was given the challenge of landing an A-list story for the show, and luckily when he asked Niall, he agreed to let him film behind the scenes for the music video for his debut single Slow Hands.
Mark told The Sunday Mirror: “I will thank Niall forever. I have got close to him over the last year and he has helped me settle in.”
The presenter also revealed how his job has allowed him to treat wife, actress Michelle Keegan.
He is taking his wife of two years to see Celine Dion at her show in Vegas – but has also bagged her an exclusive meet and greet thanks to his job.
Mark said: "I got her tickets for Christmas and through contacts at work I got her a private meet and greet."
He also revealed how his new life in Los Angeles has sparked a new Brit pack with the likes of James Corden, Leigh Francis and Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
He added: "When the Brits get together there it f***ing goes off. Emma Bunton was with us. It was boozy.
"We went to a tattoo shop and she got one. It was 3am.”
Mark also admitted he would only return home for a big job presenting Saturday night television and he's very happy in LA.
"I love it here and Michelle is with me now," he said, adding: "I'm really happy."
