The former One Direction singer made the confession at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at the weekend.

The Irish hunk, 23, joined the likes of Bruno Mars, 5 After Midnight and Clean Bandit on the star-studded line-up performing before 80,000 people at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Recalling the time that he and Wrapped Up hit-maker Olly, 33, once lived in the same apartment block, he described it as “good craic”.

However when asked if he could ever see them sharing a bachelor pad in future, he told “Nah, he is a little bit messier than I am.

“I don’t know if I could live with him again.”

Just the week before, Niall had taken part in the hugely successful One Love Manchester benefit concert which raised money for the victims and families of those who died in the terror attack at the Manchester Arena on May 22.

22 people were killed and 120 injured when a suicide bomber set of an explosive device after an Ariana Grande concert.

Addressing the 50,000-strong crowd at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on May 4, the Slow Hands singer praised the city for “rallying together” in the wake of the atrocity.

He said: “I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world and every time I come back to Manchester I’m addicted to this place.

“You guys make everyone who comes from out of town feel so welcome and we really appreciate that so when I see you guys all rallying together last week it was a sight to behold and it was incredible.

“I don’t really want to ramble on too much, so we love you, we’re with you, all of us who are here are with you,” he continued.

Harry Styles’s former bandmate concluded by dedicating his track Our Town to the people of Manchester.
