Marcus Rashford appears to have sent a message to Jose Mourinho over his playing time at Manchester United .
The majority of Rashford’s United appearances have come from the bench this season and he was withdrawn on his last start against Newcastle .
He is currently away with England and has used Trent Alexander-Arnold as an example of a youngster who has improved by playing regularly, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Jurgen Klopp has selected the right-back in all but one Premier League game so far this campaign and the 20-year-old has had a consistent run of games going back to February.
Rashford was asked about other young talent in the country and cited Alexander-Arnold as a good example.
"Trent has played quite a lot of games for his age. He’s performed well throughout his time," Rashford told Goal.
“Consistency is the biggest thing so if you’re getting consistent minutes you improve and that’s what really separates as they get a little bit older. There’s a lot of talent and we have a lot of them here.”
