Prince William and Kate Middleton were the centre of attention seven years ago when The Duke Of Cambridge popped the question.
In 2010, William gifted Princess Diana’s former engagement ring to his future wife, iconic for it’s diamond’s and 12-carat oval blue sapphire.
However, it was Prince Harry who made a truly touching gesture seven years ago.
When the boys’ mother Princess Diana died in 1997, Prince William and Prince Harry were reportedly taken to Kensington Palace where they chose a ‘keepsake’ from their mother’s belongings.

A source close to the Royals told the Daily Star that Harry chose the iconic engagement ring, and William his mother’s Cartier watch.
“They had an agreement that whoever got engaged first would have Diana’s ring – and of course that was William and Kate,” the source revealed.
And so when it came to William’s big proposal, Harry willingly sacrificed the sentimental piece of jewellery.
So what will Prince Harry give his future wife – who could potentially be girlfriend and American actress Meghan Markle – when they get engaged?

Rumour has it that Harry will take a diamond from one of his mother’s tiaras.
Prince Harry and Meghan have been dating now for just under a year after meeting during the Invictus Games in 2016.
Fans have speculated wedding bells since the couple’s romance has taken some major steps.
Meghan attended Pippa Middleton and James Matthews’ wedding earlier in the year, and is said to be preparing for royal life.
