ZOE Ball and her new man Michael Reed have had their first romantic holiday at a secluded cottage as their relationship becomes more serious.
Building firm boss Michael whisked TV star Zoe away to a rural retreat which only sleeps two guests and costs nearly £400 per night to hire.
Handsome Michael, 47, arranged the getaway to the thatched forester’s cottage with a log-fire and “fairytale bedroom” set in 4,500 acres of parkland in Suffolk.
It comes as friends of Zoe, 47, say the couple’s romance – which we revealed in December – is “hotting up”.
Strictly: It Takes Two host Zoe – who split from husband Norman Cook, 54, in 2016 – is enjoying her first relationship since her cameraman ex Billy Yates, 40, committed suicide last May.
The source close to Zoe said: “Things are moving pretty fast between her and Michael and she is happy as Larry.
“The romance is definitely hotting up and Zoe seems to be head over heels at the moment.
“He is love-bombing her and really pulling out all the stops to impress her.
“And, although he has a bit of a reputation, her friends are pleased because the relationship has pulled her out of a bit of a hole she was in.
“She is the happiest she has been in a long which is great – she is back in a good place.”
We told before Christmas how Zoe and father of three Michael enjoyed an intimate date at a private members’ club in Soho, London – before heading off together to a hotel.
And we revealed that Zoe had introduced Michael to ‘Fatboy Slim’ DJ Norman and their two children Woody, 17, and Nelly, seven.
Zoe and Michael, of Chislehurst, Kent spent Christmas apart to be with their families.
They went on their break for several nights between Christmas and New Year.
