McDonald's is selling the dream hangover cure… but you might need to plan ahead to get it

McDonald’s is many people’s go-to fix when they wake up with a pounding headache, severely dehydrated and battling waves of nausea.

The chain has now come up with the ultimate cure guaranteed to beat any hangover, named the Mega ShareBox.

The mammoth order comes complete with 2 x Big Mac, 2 x McChicken, 2 x Cheeseburger, 4 x Medium Fries, 4 x Medium Soft Drinks and 4 x Regular Sundaes.

The whole lot will set you back £20.94, and come in at a whopping 6,162 calories if you opt for coke and a hot fudge sundae.

Enough to share with your mates, but a bad hangover could see you wolf the entire thing down.

Unfortunately there is one catch – it’s only available in New Zealand right now retailing at $40.

New Zealanders aren’t the only lucky Macca's fans, as Cyprus, India, Singapore and Slovakia have all featured a McDonald’s sharing box.

But Kiwi’s are living the McDonald’s dream, with a range of sharing boxes to choose from.

The £13.09 ($25) Classics ShareBox comes with 1 x Big Mac, 1 x Cheeseburger, 1 x Quarter Pounder, 1 x McChicken, 2 x Small Fries, 2 x Medium Fries, 2 x Small Soft Drinks and 2 x Med Soft Drinks.

While the £15.70 ($30) Legends ShareBox features 2 x Big Mac, 1x McChicken, 1x Filet-o-Fish, 1 x 6pk Chicken McNuggets, 2 x Medium Fries, 2 x Small Fries and 4 x Medium Soft Drinks.

With return flights averaging £930, popping to McDonald’s in Wellington should only set you back roughly a grand.

After the launch of the extended Big Mac range, we hope the boxes hit the UK shelves soon.
